Grafton Indivisible is a chapter of the national progressive grassroots movement Indivisible. We formed in July 2025.
Our mission is to protect our United States democracy, and promote social justice locally and beyond. We prioritize activities that help educate and strengthen our community. We partner closely with Worcester Indivisible, Greater Assabet Indivisible Network, Westborough Indivisible, and Shrewsbury Indivisible.
We are…
- We believe our United States democracy is in eminent danger from the Trump regime.
- We are non-partisan. We welcome Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Libertarians, Green Party members, and non-enrolled voters who share our mission of preserving democracy.
- We believe in good trouble and peaceful protest.
We do not….
- Tolerate nor support violence.
- Tolerate hate or discrimination in any form. All are welcome.
- Put down others who share our mission of preserving democracy. We’re all in this together, and we stand united.
Disruption that makes others feel unsafe or is contrary to our community values will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask you to leave our gatherings if you are deliberately disruptive in this way.
Grafton Indivisible Community Agreements
- One microphone: one person speaks at a time.
- WAIT (Why am I talking? Why aren’t I talking?): Be aware of how much space you are or are not talking. Make sure there is room for all to contribute.
- What’s said here stays here. What’s learned here, leaves here. Don’t share gossip, but do share the lessons from the meeting.
- Don’t yuck my yum. Don’t dismiss the ideas of others outright. Work to build strong ideas together.
- Safety for freedom of expression. We provide a safe space for group members to be vulnerable without fear of judgment.
